Inspirational Quotes And Poetry!

Inspirational Quotes♥

Hi, welcome back to my blog.  I know I haven't posted in like forever... sooooo I today I'm going to be posting Inspirational Quotes And Poetry!

1. ‘When you’re a kid, you color with reckless abandon. You color outside the lines. You color however you feel. Blue elephants, purple trees, red bears, green oceans – it’s all good. As you get older, though, everyone tells you to stay inside the lines, to color everything just like you see it. You end up painting by numbers – whether you actually paint or whether you write or sing or act or direct. I think you should create what you feel. Create outside the lines. I want to watch green oceans and red bears. I’d love to listen to purple trees. And I long to read blue elephants.’🐘
–WRDSMTH (at Studio City, California)

word on the street:
I really love this quote I think its because you can relate to it, and taken literally or metaphorically it can be related to life in many different ways.

2 'Some people talk and talk and never say a thing. Some people look at you and the birds begin to sing. Some people laugh and laugh and yet you want to cry. Some people touch your hand and music fills the .1~Charlotte Zolotow.
langleav: Some people talk and talk, and never say a thing…:
I came across this poem while reading a book and I instantly fell in love with it, I think its the fact that its easy to learn and read off that makes it so appealing!

3  'Don't tell me what they said about me, tell me why they were so comfortable to say it around you'
Read these top 100 most repinned picture quotes on Pinterest:
I like this poem because, I guess its something you never think about, how does the message carrier find out the gossip? Are they willingly told? Are they really your friend or someone trying to drag you down by pretending to be your friend?

4 'Maybe our favourite quotations say more about us than the stories and people we're quoting.'

not a bad point ...:
When I saw this I was like 'Huh, What if thats true?' What if we give simple quotes, poems and frases deeper meanings than intended?

I guess this poem is pretty self explanatory but very true and every one should believe it!  When I saw this I thought of my friend -I'm going to call her Mimi (She says she is a Meerkat because she is so tall and my friends and I are so small)

8  Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.
Take kindly to the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.' ~Max Ehrmann

So this poem was in my English school book and I really liked it as it had many life lessons. Now if your anything like me you probably didn't read the whole way through the poem but its well worth a read even if its only the first 2/3 stanzas (Paragraphs/Verses)

9 'Some times those who say nothing, have the most to say'
I'm not even sure if this is the right quote but I couldn't think of where I say it so I write it down from memory.

That is all for today I'm gonna try update more often if I can, I might also add a few quotes every so often.
